Ellen applies her experience reviewing thousands of college admissions applications for the University of Virginia and the University of Rochester to help students develop compelling essays and prepare applications that authentically highlight their strengths. She guides students and their families through every stage of the college admissions journey with clarity and confidence.

After supporting her own three children through successful college admission experiences, Ellen discovered her passion for helping students explore colleges, identify meaningful activities, clarify their academic interests, and approach the application process with purpose.

Known for her hands-on and organized approach, Ellen helps students stay focused, motivated, and on track from start to finish. She remains up-to-date on evolving admissions trends and shares her insights generously with the families she supports.

Ellen holds a B.A. in History from Columbia College, Columbia University, a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA. She is also a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association.
